WHAT IS THE LAW OF THE CHALLAH BREAD?

Challah means the separated portion of dough from your kneading and giving (waving) it to the LORD to acknowledge that God is the source of our daily Bread. By obeying this  Law of Challah, our food are infused with God's Spiritual Energy and Blessings.

Challah also means “a loaf of bread.” But, after thousands of years, it came to mean a certain type of bread that is eaten every 7th Day Sabbath, leading to its spiritual food counterpart.

Any dough which is made of wheat, barley, spelt, oat or rye must follow this Biblical Commandment (Numbers 15:17–21). 

• And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, (Num 15:17 KJV)

• Speak unto the Children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, (Num 15:18 KJV)

• then it shall be that WHEN YOU EAT OF THE BREAD OF THE LAND, you shall offer up a wave offering to the LORD. (Num 15:19 HNV)

• You shall offer up A CAKE (Heb. CHALLAH = LOAF OF BREAD) of the First of your Dough, a heave offering, as the heave offering of the threshing-floor, so YOU SHALL LIFT IT UP. (Num 15:20 MKJV)

• Of the First of your Dough you shall give to the LORD a wave offering throughout your generations. (Num 15:21 HNV)

By Biblical Law, Challah is applicable only inside the Land of Israel. However, the Jewish Sages instituted the taking of Challah outside the Holy Land so that people living outside the Land of Israel would not forget this important Bible Commandment. 

For the Law of Challah to have Biblical force, a majority of Jews must be present in the Holy Land. But, ever since the forced dispersion of the Jews at the end of the First Temple era, this requirement has not been met. Therefore, today, the physical Law of Challah, both in and out of the Land of Israel, is a Rabbinic rather than a Biblical Commandment. 

Nevertheless, the spiritual observance of the Law of Challah Bread is very important in the 21st Century END-TIME. This is because God's People must be given the Spiritual Power and Wisdom to transform themselves and prepare for the glorious return and reign of Christ => The KING MESSIAH and LORD OF THE COMING MILLENNIAL SABBATH! 

THE TRUE CHALLAH BREAD IS CHRIST => THE LIFE OF THE WHOLE WORLD!

In our 21st Century END-TIME Generation, this Spiritual Sabbath Food, or the real Manna Bread from Heaven, is God's Messianic Kabbalah Wisdom => Who is Jesus Christ Himself, in Person (John 6:32-35).

• Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from Heaven; but my Father giveth you THE TRUE BREAD FROM HEAVEN. (Joh 6:32 KJV)

• For The BREAD OF GOD is He which cometh down from Heaven, and giveth Life unto the world. (Joh 6:33 KJV)

• Jesus said unto them, I AM THE BREAD OF LIFE: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (Joh 6:35 KJV)

HOW THE LAW OF CHALLAH (BREAD OF THE EARTH PLUS THE BREAD OF HEAVEN) GIVE SALVATION & ETERNAL LIFE TO A PERSON

The objective of CHALLAH, is not the dough, but the eating of the baked bread. Although the laws of challah apply to the dough before it becomes edible, the purpose of the Law is that through consecrating the dough, by taking off the portion of “challah,” it will cause the dough to be elevated. The resulting refined and elevated bread will refine and elevate the Righteous Person eating it.

It is not only the physical bread that keeps us alive but the spiritual energies infused in the bread that nourish our soul. The source of the Divine energies that are infused in the “food” comes from a higher level than the person consuming the food. It is precisely for this reason that the food is able to nurture the person, both physically and spiritually.

Every digestible food a person eats becomes part of his very being. When the person utilizes the physical energy he derived from the food for a meaningful and spiritual purpose, that is, to serve his Creator, he uncovers the spiritual energies infused in the food and elevates it. When the food becomes unified with the person who is serving God, the food’s higher spiritual energies uplift and empower the person’s soul (Deuteronomy 8:3). 

• … God gave you MANNA to eat, which you and your Fathers had not known, so that you might learn that MAN DOES NOT LIVE ON BREAD ALONE but ON EVERY WORD THAT COMES FROM THE MOUTH OF THE LORD. (Deu 8:3 HCSB) 

On the other hand, if a person eats and uses the energy gained from the food for selfish or negative purposes, then he degrades the food. Thus, the Bible prescribes the Law of Challah, as the remedy for insuring that the person will be victorious while eating. He must take the first portion of his kneading bowl as an offering to God.

THERE MUST BE 2 CHALLAHS AT EVERY SABBATH MEAL 

And every Sabbath there must be 2 Challahs. This is to commemorate the fact that the Jews in the desert received a double portion of the heavenly MANNA BREAD every Friday in honor of the Sabbath (Exodus 16:29).

• See, for that the LORD hath given you the SABBATH, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the BREAD OF TWO DAYS; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day. (Exo 16:29 KJV)

• … on the sixth day they gathered TWICE AS MUCH BREAD, two omers for one. (Exo 16:22 MKJV) 

And everyone must be told that this supernal Manna Bread is actually God's MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM.
