Do You Know Why The WORDS OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT WAS PLACED INSIDE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT, while The Law of The OLD COVENANT Was OUTSIDE The Ark of The Covenant?



The Old Covenant given to Moses and Israel served as a Copy and Shadow of the New Everlasting Covenant of Christ (Hebrews 8:5). Since the Law of the Old Covenant was written by Moses => A Mortal Man, it was placed OUTSIDE the Ark of the Covenant (Exodus 34:27). In contrast, the Words of the original Everlasting Covenant was written by the Immortal & Eternal God Himself. Thus, it was placed INSIDE the Ark.

The Old Covenant given to Moses and Israel (Exodus 34:27), served as a Copy and Shadow of the New Everlasting Covenant of Christ (Hebrews 8:5).
  • These serve as a COPY and SHADOW of the HEAVENLY THINGS, as Moses was warned when he was about to complete the Tabernacle. For He said, Be careful that you MAKE EVERYTHING ACCORDING TO THE PATTERN THAT WAS SHOWN TO YOU ON THE MOUNTAIN. (Heb 8:5 HCSB)
THE WORDS (TEN COMMANDMENTS) OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT WRITTEN BY GOD WAS PLACED INSIDE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT 
  • The LORD SAID unto me (Moses), Hew thee two Tables of Stone like unto the First, and come up unto me into the Mount, and make thee an Ark of wood. (Deu 10:1 KJV)
  • And I WILL WRITE on the TABLETS the WORDS that  were in the FIRST TABLETS which YOU BROKE, and YOU SHALL PUT THEM IN THE ARK. (Deu 10:2 MKJV)
  • and I (Moses)…placed the TABLETS IN THE ARK I had made. And they have remained there, as the LORD commanded me." (Deu 10:5 HCSB) 
THE START OF THE TEMPORARY LEVITICAL PRIESTHOOD

It's because that Man failed to enter into God's Everlasting Covenant, that the LORD God decided to provide Mankind with the temporal Covenant using the Levitical Priesthood; with the Mortal Man Moses as the Mediator.
  • At that time The LORD separated the TRIBE OF LEVI, to bear the Ark of the Covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto Him, and to bless in His Name, unto this day. (Deu 10:8 KJV) 
GOD ORIGINALLY WROTE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS OF THE EVERLASTING COVENANT, AS WELL AS, THAT OF THE OLD COVENANT
  • The LORD said to Moses, "Cut two stone Tablets like the first ones, and I WILL WRITE ON THEM the Words that were on the First Tablets, which you broke. (Exo 34:1 HCSB)
  • And He (GOD) wrote down on the Tablets the WORDS of the COVENANT -- the TEN COMMANDMENTS. (Exo 34:28 HCSB)
The John Gill's Exposition of The Entire Bible, says:
and he wrote on the Tables the words of the Covenant, the Ten Commandments; not Moses, for these were Tables of Stone, which he could not write or engrave upon without proper instruments, which it does not appear he had with him on the mount; but it was God that wrote them, who, in Exo_34:1 says he would write them, and from Deu_10:2 we are assured he did. -- GILL

With God writing the Ten Commandments of the Everlasting Covenant; not one jot or tittle of the LAW should pass away, but that all should be carefully preserved for the coming of the great Immortal and Eternal Mediator of the New Everlasting Covenant (Hebrews 8:6, 9:15, 12:24). Thus, Christ came in the Human Flesh, not to destroy the LAW, but to fulfill the LAW (Matthew 5:17-18).
  • Do not think that I have come to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I HAVE NOT COME TO DESTROY BUT TO FULFILL. (Mat 5:17 MKJV)
  • For truly I say to you, Till the Heaven and the Earth pass away, NOT ONE JOT or ONE TITTLE shall in any way pass from the LAW UNTIL ALL IS FULFILLED. (Mat 5:18 MKJV) 
In other words, the Immortal and Eternal Christ must fulfill the writings of the Mortal Moses, particularly the TEN COMMANDMENTS of the Everlasting Covenant placed inside the Ark of the Covenant (John 5:46). Once this is done, Immortality and Eternal Life is now possible for Mankind via the Eternal Christ (John 5:39-40, 10:27-28, 1John 5:11).
  • You search the Scriptures, for in them you think you have ETERNAL LIFE. And they are the ones witnessing of Me, and you will not COME TO ME THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE (ETERNAL) LIFE. (Joh 5:39-40 MKJV)
  • And this is the record, that GOD HATH GIVEN TO US ETERNAL LIFE, and THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON. (1John 5:11 KJV)
THE OLD COVENANT BOOK OF THE LAW (TORAH) WAS PLACED OUTSIDE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT

The OLD COVENANT still leads to Death; thus, God allowed it to be written by MOSES => A Mortal Man (Exodus 34:27).
  • The LORD also said to Moses, "Write down these words, for I have made a COVENANT with you and with Israel based on these Words." (Exo 34:27 HCSB)
The Jamieson, Fausset, and Brown Commentary, says:
And the Lord said unto Moses, Write thou these words — that is, the ceremonial and judicial injunctions written in Exodus_34:11-26; while the rewriting of the Ten Commandments on the newly prepared slabs was done by God Himself (Deu_10:1-4). -- JFB

Here, in Exodus 34:27 Moses was commanded by God to write the Words of the OLD COVENANT. These Words are the ceremonial and other Commands and Instructions of God concerning the fallen Israel and its preserving Levitical Priesthood. 

These Writings of Moses are the LAW of the OLD COVENANT, which also included the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:1-17). The purpose of this Old Covenant, which is the TORAH that expanded to became the BIBLE, is to bring Mankind to Christ (Galatians 3:24) for the New EVERLASTING COVENANT that gives ETERNAL LIFE.

And since this Book of the Law of the Old Covenant was written by a Mortal Man, Moses, it was placed OUTSIDE the ARK OF THE COVENANT (Deuteronomy 31:9, 26).
  • Take this BOOK OF THE LAW, and put it in the SIDE of the ARK OF THE COVENANT of the LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee. (Deu 31:26 KJV) 
This Book of the LAW is the First 5 Books of the Bible called the TORAH and Pentateuch by the Jews.

THE OLD COVENANT IS NOW ABSORBED AND SUPERSEDED BY THE NEW EVERLASTING COVENANT, AND IS THE ONE TO GIVE YOU ETERNAL SALVATION
  • If that FIRST (OLD) COVENANT had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. (Heb 8:7 KJV)
  • For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I WILL MAKE A NEW COVENANT with the House of Israel and with the House of Judah: (Heb 8:8 KJV)
  • Not according to the Covenant that I made with their Fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt… (Heb 8:9 KJV)
  • For this is the Covenant that I will make with the House of Israel after those days...I WILL PUT MY LAWS INTO THEIR MIND, and WRITE THEM IN THEIR HEARTS: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a People: (Heb 8:10 KJV) 
The MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM IS SYMBOLIZED BY THE MANNA INSIDE THE ARK OF THE COVENANT
  • After the second veil was...the Holy of Holies, having a Golden Altar of incense, and the ARK OF THE COVENANT…, in which was the Golden POT that had MANNA, and AARON'S ROD that budded, and the TABLETS OF THE COVENANT. (Heb 9:3-4 MKJV) 
As Moses descended from Mount Sinai with the 2nd set of Tablets of the Testimony or Covenant in his hands; he did not realize that the skin of his face shone as a result of his speaking with the LORD (Exodus 34:29-30). The shining of Moses Face is due to the Light of MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM that stick to his Face as a result of his speaking with God Face-To-Face. 

In the 21st Century End-Time, the MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM, which is the LIGHT of the True Knowledge of God, comes from the FACE OF CHRIST JESUS (2Corinthians 4:6).
  • For God, who commanded the LIGHT TO SHINE OUT OF DARKNESS, hath shined in our hearts, to give the LIGHT of the Knowledge of the Glory of God in the FACE OF JESUS CHRIST. (2Cor 4:6 KJV)
CHRIST is now the High-Priest of the Everlasting Covenant after the order of MELCHIZEDEK in Heaven (Hebrews 5:5-6, 10, 6:20).
With all these events and new revelations from Heaven, we can now know God as He truly is, and God can know us, as we really are (1Corinthians 13:12). 
  • For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then FACE TO FACE. Now I know in part, but then I SHALL FULLY KNOW EVEN AS I ALSO AM FULLY KNOWN. (1Cor 13:12 MKJV) 
IN SUMMARY: Now the sum of the things which we have spoken is this: WE HAVE SUCH A HIGH PRIEST, WHO HAS SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT OF THE THRONE OF THE MAJESTY IN HEAVEN, a Minister of the Sanctuary and of the TRUE TABERNACLE, which The LORD pitched, and not man. (Heb 8:1-2 MKJV)
  • For CHRIST IS NOT ENTERED INTO THE HOLY PLACES MADE with (Human) HANDS, which are the Figures of the TRUE; but INTO HEAVEN ITSELF, now to appear in the presence of God for us: (Heb 9:24 KJV) 
  • And the TEMPLE OF GOD was opened in Heaven, and there was seen in His Temple the ARK OF HIS COVENANT… (Rev 11:19 MKJV)
