The TEN SEFIROT of The TREE OF LIFE.



The TEN SEFIROT structure of the TREE OF LIFE is the appearance of the 10 Sefirot controlled by KETER (Top-Most Sefirah). They are the Ten Channels of DIVINE ENERGY or LIFE-FORCE from the First God or EIN SOF. It is the Foundation and Source of God’s MESSIANIC KABBALAH WISDOM, which is the True Gospel of Christ.

ARICH ANPIN OR GOD THE FATHER CREATED THE 10 SEFIROT

The ZOHAR reveals that The BEGINNING who became GOD THE FATHER created the Ten Sefirot. These are alluded to in the original First verse of the Hebrew Bible (Genesis 1:1).


The BEGINNING…
  • "Created" refers  to KETER and CHOCHMAH.
  • "Elohim" refers to BINAH,
  • "Et" (the)" refers to CHESED and GEVURAH,
  • "The Heaven" is TIFERET,
  • "And the" refers to NETZACH, HOD and YESOD.
  • "The Earth" refers to MALCHUT.
But, when the First ADAM ate from the forbidden TREE OF KNOWLEDGE (Heb. DA'ATH), the 10 became 11 Sefirahs. But, only 10 always appeared in the structure of the TEN SEFIROT, whether it is the Ten Sefirot of the TREE OF LIFE, or of the TREE of the Knowledge of Good & Evil. This is because the sefirah of KETER and DA'ATH do not appear together. 

That is, when KETER appears, DA'ATH disappears; this is the TREE OF LIFE. When DA'ATH appears, KETER disappears; this is the TREE of the Knowledge of Good & Evil.

THE TEN SEFIROT:

1. KETER (Crown of Life)
  • The First of the TEN SEFIROT and appears at the top of the middle axis of the structure of the Ten Sefirot.
  • Corresponds to the superconscious realm of experience. 
  • The image of a CROWN suggests an aura surrounding one’s consciousness. 
  • The supernal crown (Keter ELYON) is the Crown of Kingdom (Keter MALCHUT).
  • Thus, the First and Highest of the Divine emanations – KETER is linked to the last – MALCHUT (Kingdom).

2. CHOCHMAH (Wisdom)
  • The Creative aspect of the Intellect. 
  • The First of the immanent Sefirot. 
  • The First of the Intellectual powers of the Soul.
3. BINAH (Understanding)
  • The developmental stage of Cognition and Creativity. 
  • The attributes of the Soul below Chochmah and Keter.
    DA’ATH (Knowledge)
  • The Conclusive and action-oriented aspect of the Intellect. 
  • The 3rd of the Soul Powers. 
  • The Key to the Emotional attributes. 
  • When DA’ATH appears in the Ten Sefirot, KETER does not appear. This means that the TREE becomes the TREE of Knowledge of Good & Evil.
DA'ATH operates on TWO (2) Levels of Knowledge:

1. The Higher Knowledge. Provides the continuous bond between the two higher powers of intellect -- Chochmah and Binah. The Zohar referred to this level of Da'ath as "The Key that includes six." This means that this Da'ath opens all 6 chambers (attributes) of the Heart and fills them with the LIGHT or LIFE FORCE from God The Father. Each of these 6 chambers, when filled with Da'ath, is referred to as a particular Dei'ah (attitude) of the Soul. The Hebrew word Dei'ah is from the root of Da'ath. The Source is the TREE OF LIFE. This is also called the WISDOM from Above.

2. The Lower Knowledge. Connects the intellect with the realm of emotion, enhancing one's determination and resolve to act in accordance with the ideas, concepts, and logic that one has learned, developed, and integrated into his/her consciousness. This is the Knowledge or Wisdom of this World. The Source is the forbidden TREE OF DEATH (Genesis 2:17).

4. CHESED (Kindness) 
  • Corresponds to the Right Column or Right Hand. 
  • The dominant attribute on the First Day of Creation.
5. GEVURA (Severity, Judgment, or Restrictive Power)
  • The Power to limit and conceal the infinite Light so that each creature can receive according to its capacity. 
  • Corresponds to the LEFT Arm or Hand and to the 2nd Day of the Creation Week. 
  • Sometimes referred to as DIN or JUDGMENT. 
6. TIFFERET (Beauty)
  • Synonymous with Rachamin (Compassion, Mercy).  
  • Harmonizes and blends Chesed and Gevurah, so that a proper mixture of the 2 will result in a bearable revelation of Chesed to finite created beings.
7. NETZACH (Victory)
  • The 4th of the emotive attributes within creation. 
  • Corresponds to the RIGHT Leg.
    8. HOD (Awe, Glory)
    • Corresponds to the LEFT Leg. 
    We must understand NETZACH and HOD together to give us a new perspective into understanding what is happening in the world. No longer do we merely look at an act at face value, and attempt to understand it as such, but we must look at it also in terms of "a means to an end." There is more to God's actions than what appears to be happening at surface level. The answers to questions, "why do the wicked prosper?" (Job 21:7-8), and "why the  righteous suffer" (2Thessalonians 1:5) can be found in the attributes of NETZACH and HOD.
     
    For example, the suffering of the righteous may be a test in order to increase their reward, or a way to cleanse them in this world of their few sins so that they are pure and perfect in the World to Come. The wicked may be prospering in order that their feeling of complacency prevents their repentance or in order that they should receive their entire reward on Earth so their later destruction can be total. 

    9. YESOD (Foundation)
    • Corresponds to the Reproductive Organs.

    10. MALCHUT (Kingdom)
    • The 10th and Final Sefira. 
    • Actualizes all the other Sefirot. 
    • Comprises 2 opposite qualities:
    1. When still contained in the original intention (KETER), it is in a state of EXALTEDNESS.
    2. When it descends to its place as the last of the sefirot, it is in a state of HUMILITY.  
    3. It is in both states simultaneously.
      The supernal CROWN (KETER Elyon) is the CROWN of The Kingdom (KETER Malchut). Thus, the TOP-Most (KETER) of the Sefirot is linked to the Lowest and Earthly MALCHUT.
