Kabbalah of 7 & 8: THE TWO LEVELS OF OUR OBSERVANCE TO GOD'S FEAST OF TABERNACLES. The First 7 Days Must Elevate and Connect To The Next Spiritual Day 8.

The number 8 is a totally new phase or beginning, nevertheless, it cannot be reached without the preceding number 7. This means that the supernal level of 8 is connected to the created reality of seven. This is similar to our personal relationship and service to God. Our efforts and service to God are limited by our natural strengths and weaknesses. Yet, when we do our best for God (Level 7), He will cause to shine down on us the level of energizing revelations and holiness that are without limitation, and higher than nature (Level 8).

SHABBAT SHEMINI = THE TWO LEVELS OF SERVICE TO GOD

"Shabbat Shemini" shows two levels in Godly service. Shabbat or Sabbath is the 7th day and completion of the creation process. "Shemini", from the Hebrew word meaning "eight", hints at a level above nature and creation. Eight is unbounded by the reality of the world.

Shabbat Shemini is thus a combination of these two levels. The lesson here is that even after serving God through all natural means, one must strive to serve God above the natural reality, not allowing the world's limitations and resistance to affect our higher service.

The festival of Shemini Atzeret (Last Great Day), whose function is to spend an exclusive, personal time with the Creator God, occurs on the 8th day that follows the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles (FOT).

• Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The 15th day of this 7th month shall be the Feast of Tabernacles for SEVEN DAYS unto The LORD.  (Lev 23:34 KJV)

• SEVEN DAYS ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: ON THE EIGHT DAY shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by Fire unto The LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.  (Lev 23:36 KJV)

• In the last day, that Great (8th Day) of the Feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink.  (John 7:37 KJV)

OUR WEAK AND CORRUPTIBLE HUMAN BODY BELONGS TO THE 7TH LEVEL OF EXISTENCE. IT MUST BE TRANSFORMED AND RAISED TO THE 8TH LEVEL!

The Level of 7 = Our Physical, fleshy human body.
The Level of 8 = Our body as the Temple of the GREAT GOD.

Our limited physical human body belongs to this physical world of seven; but our overcoming efforts with the supernal help of GOD, transforms our human bodies to be raised into the 8th Level, to become the very TEMPLE of the Great Living GOD!

• Don't you know that you are a Temple of God, and that God's Spirit lives in you?  (1Cor 3:16 HNV)

•  Do you not know that YOUR BODY IS A TEMPLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT in you, whom you have of God? (1Cor 6:19 MKJV)

•  And I heard a great voice out of Heaven saying, Behold, THE TABERNACLE OF GOD IS WITH MEN, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God. (Rev 21:3 MKJV)

LEVEL 7 AND 8 ARE MEANT TO BE CONNECTED TOGETHER. LEVEL 7 MUST ELEVATE AND CONNECT ITSELF TO LEVEL 8.

The number 8 is a totally new phase or beginning, nevertheless, it cannot be reached without the preceding number 7. This means that the supernal Level 8 of the Creator must connect to the created reality of seven (7). 

In other words, Level 7 must elevate itself and connect to Level 8; as Level 8 is prepared and is waiting for the connection. This is similar to our personal relationship and service to God. Our efforts and service to God are limited by our natural strengths and weaknesses. But, when we do our best for God (Level 7), He will cause to shine on us the level of energizing revelatory Light and Holiness that are without limitation, and higher than nature (Level 8).

This is illustrated with the Tabernacle in the desert; the efforts made during the 7 days of construction were the required preparation for the supernal revelation on the 8th day. Similarly, our patience, long-suffering, and overcoming efforts in this dark material world is actually the preparation for the coming salvation/redemption. 

The return of Christ will open the gates of Heaven allowing God's supernal light to shine on the whole Earth. It is through our efforts now, that this abundant divine light and wisdom of salvation will be able to shine on us.
